Winter Round Up - With Brand Ambassador Frankie Jarvis

Typically December has been a quieter month for the horses here with us, while we are wrapped up in the festivities the horses have been busy fluffing up and eating me out of house and home!!

I currently have in my very exciting rising 6yo Lissavorra Doc (Doc) and coming 4yo Goose! I have very high hopes for these two, I am super excited for the future and all we have planned for them!

Between dodging downpours and frosty mornings, I have been busily planning and booking things for the start of the year! Doc has started his fittening routine. We have already been out to a couple of competitions and impressively winning our first Team Quest (BD) competition with an impressive 74%! We have numerous training days and trips booked in for the coming couple of months before the first BE event at Isleham which we are looking forward to!

I am starting the season at BE90 with Doc, hoping to move up to BE100 after a few runs and it would be nice to think we can finish the season at Novice level. I have another ride on a client and friends horse - Obi Dazzled (and he sure does dazzle!!) we have been successful in the past and this year we are excitedly aiming to qualify for the BE80 championships at Kelsall! Which will be really exciting, we all get on really well and will be lots of fun campaigning him this year. I am hoping to break Goose in the spring, we have been lunging him and teaching him the ways of the world so hopefully won't be too long!

Aside from BE, after an exciting win at our first Team Quest, we are really excited for our progress through the season and with such a good, passionate team and a lovely set of ponies it would be really exciting to see how far we can get with our dressage shoes on!!

So, we are super excited for the upcoming months of training and competing and making a go of it! I have such an amazing support system around me. My family, friends, sponsors and team show me unconditional love and support - even when we are up at the crack of dawn to travel half way round the country!! My amazing horses never fail to try their hardest. So a massive THANK YOU to everyone for enabling this to happen. Feel free to follow our progress on my page - Franki Jarvis Eventing, and look forward to lots of updates over an exciting year!

And I also would like to say a big thank you to Lucy at LWEquine, the bridles are just beautiful and the support is hugely appreciated!
